Several years ago my friends at Studio 534 at the Design Center where telling a wonderful designer all about me, just as I happened to walk into the showroom...
I was introduced to interior designer Honey Collins. Honey was working on a vignette and needed a card/brochure to hand out for opening night as she had never photographed any of her work before. We made arrangements to meet at a recently completed project on the North Shore. Afterwards, we worked on the graphics and produced a stunning card to be handed out for opening night. Honey told me that people were asking for more than one card and gushing over the image. And ultimately we photographed that project for a six page spread in the Boston Sunday Globe Magazine, making the cover! Estelle Bond Guralnick refers to Honey Collins as "the real deal" and well I cannot possibly think of a better compliment than that!
Last spring I was having coffee with the former art director of Design New England and was asked if I had anything traditional for their July/August issue. Coincidentally I had just scouted a project for Honey Collins that we where planning on shooting. So I forwarded those scouting shots to Design New England and we shot the project for their July/August issue.
Honey Collins has again created a space at the Wenham North Shore Design Show and I look forward to photographing that space this Friday.
